Valhalla Festival returns to RAI Amsterdam

AIR Event's ‘Valhalla Festival’ returns to RAI Amsterdam. This indoor festival starts Saturday 17 December at 10.30 p.m. and ends on Sunday 18 December at 07.00 a.m. The event will take place in hall 8-12, which is at the southern end of RAI Amsterdam. The permit for the event has been applied and granted. The organiser made arrangements with RAI Amsterdam, police, fire department, and government to make sure the festival runs smoothly.

Parking

To prevent visitors parking on neighbouring streets, the adjacent neighbourhoods will be closed for traffic. Residents are able to park in the neighbourhood, as well as drivers with a parking permit or people who make it plausible to visit a resident. The doors of the event will be open between 10.30p.m. and 01.00a.m. The neighbourhood traffic controllers will be present between 09.00p.m. and 02.00a.m.

Volume, nuisance and waste

A soundcheck will take place on Friday 16 December between 07.00 p.m. and 09.00 p.m. During the event, the volume will be monitored through a mobile measuring installation nearby. If measures are above the norm, the sound technician will adjust the volume. The security will help to prevent nuisance and waste. Afterwards, the neighbourhood will be cleaned.
