Experience a special evening or afternoon in the RAI theatre!

The atmospheric RAI Theatre is one of the largest theatres in Amsterdam. We offer a varied program with leading national and international productions. The theatre combines comfort and style with the latest audiovisual technology. The theater has 1750 seats and is easily accessible by public transport and by car.

One hour before the show, we welcome you in the foyer of our theatre where you can have by a cup of coffee or a drink. Of course also after the show! Complete your evening and enjoy the special theatre menu in our theatre restaurant.

Guide dogs and service dogs
We welcome guide dogs and service dogs in our RAI Theatre. It is important to mention that you will be bringing your dog when you reserve your tickets.

Parking spaces for disabled
The RAI Theatre has several parking spaces for the disabled. You need a disabled pass to make use of such a parking space.

Disabled access and services
RAI Theatre is easily accessible for wheelchairs. There is a lift and toilets for the disabled. There are eight wheelchair seats in the theatre (see * in the floor plan). Please do not forget to mention explicitly that you need a wheelchair seat when you reserve your tickets. There are also wheelchair ramps available.

Services for the deaf and hard hearing
The RAI Theatre has an induction loop. All you have to do is put your hearing aid on ‘t’ position. When your hearing aid does not have that function it is possible to lent a hearing aid. Please make sure you can hand over a valid ID.

Smoking policy
Smoking is prohibited at RAI Amsterdam. This applies to the building, parking garages, and entrances. This also includes electronic cigarettes. Therefore, RAI has provided special smoking facilities at designated locations on the RAI premises where smoking is allowed. These locations are marked with the green smoking symbol. Smokers are expected to smoke at these designated areas and dispose of cigarettes in the provided ashtrays.
