The first Donation Room opened its doors during IBC, giving exhibitors the chance to hand in useful items for various social initiatives from the neighbourhood. We were able to support many organisations with our initiative, such as Stichting Heen en Weer, Puur Zuid, the Salvation Army’s Bij Bosshardt in the north of the city, the Food Bank, Cordaan and Humanitas.
“Thank you! What an improvement to our location! We are sure that hundreds of volunteers, visitors and employees will benefit!” Humanitas.
The initiative aims to prevent the waste of valuable items and increase our social value as an organisation. Moreover, we can announce on this Sustainability Day that the Donation Room will return during the Aquatech exhibition from 5 to 8 November.
