PLMA to stay in Amsterdam until 2026

PLMA’s annual “World of Private Label” International Trade Show will stay at the RAI in Amsterdam for the next four years. The  Private Label Manufacturers Association, which represents more than 3,500 member manufacturers around the globe have reached this agreement with RAI Amsterdam and her business partners. This ensures that Amsterdam will remain the annuallocation for the worlds largest association of its kind, devoted exclusively to the promotion of private label.

COO Maurits van der Sluis of RAI Amsterdam is proud with the extension: “PLMA is a well-known phenomenon in Amsterdam. Each May, since 1995, RAI Amsterdam sees operating at full speed to host this great event”.
Peggy Davies, President PLMA, says ‘PLMA is pleased to renew its decades long relationship with RAI Amsterdam. The stable support, by the RAI team, for PLMA and its members continues to shape this mutually beneficial partnership.’

Impact on Amsterdam
At the same time PLMA also has a huge economic impact beyond the walls of the RAI. PLMA features over 2.500 exhibitors from more than 70 countries and brings retailers, wholesalers and other private label professionals together with manufacturers to help them find new products, make new contacts, and discover new ideas that will help their private label programmes succeed and grow. “They in turn attract more than 25.000 trade professionals who stay in the Dutch capital for several days,” continues Van der Sluis. “This is a great example of how RAI Amsterdam serves as an knowledge hub and an economic force for the entire city of Amsterdam.”
