270 HAVO students catch up on delay in education at the RAI

During 'the bRAIn academy', students from 1, 2 and 3 havo of the Keizer Karel College came together in the RAI from Monday April 12 to Thursday April 15 to work in a completely 'corona-proof' environment on the subjects where they are struggling. have with you. This collaboration between an educational institution and a commercial company is unique. Never before have secondary school students been given the opportunity to take classes in the RAI. Under the guidance of teachers, mentors and coaches from Remind Learning, master classes on all kinds of subjects were followed and work was done in small groups.

Get grades
The corona virus has had a major impact on education. Both teachers and students have had to get used to distance education. This has not been easy for everyone and there are therefore many students where corona has caused a delay. These four days they were given the opportunity to retrieve their grades.

A special program was devised for the 27 students who did not experience any delay. On the second day, these business students were given a tour of the corona proof event location "the Stage is Yours" in hall 12. In addition to attending

master classes, they set to work on a business plan for the RAI. In it they described what steps they would take if they were to organize an event for the RAI. Master chef and entrepreneur Ron Blaauw was also present and cooked with the business students. This project is one of the examples with which RAI Amsterdam is committed to society.
