The vision for the future of RAI is clear and ambitious: to renew the RAI area and transform our surroundings into an innovative, modern, and green meeting place. This vision requires sustainability, modernisation, and greening. We also aim to improve the connection with the city by adding functions that make the area more liveable and attractive.
More than ever, RAI will provide the perfect setting in the future, offering a wide range of inspiring meeting spaces, state-of-the-art buildings and facilities, and serene green areas. It will be a place where the city's energy converges, and every meeting is an opportunity to create something new.
Renewing the RAI area is essential to achieve this vision.
We have a vision of what this transformation could look like, and we are discussing this with the Municipality of Amsterdam, among others. However, to achieve an inclusive and successful outcome, we need input from all involved parties. The area development is about creating added value for all stakeholders, including our neighbours, as well as customers such as event organisers, exhibitors, and visitors.
To shape the development of the area, we will engage in discussions with various parties. More information on this will follow later.
