GreenTech Expands to North America
RAI Amsterdam is expanding its GreenTech portfolio with a new trade show: GreenTech North America. This inaugural edition will take place on Wednesday, September 23rd, and Thursday, September 24th, 2026, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. This edition will focus on sustainable and high-tech horticultural solutions for the American and Canadian markets.
New platform for sustainable horticulture
GreenTech North America brings together growers, producers, innovators, and suppliers to share knowledge, showcase innovations, and create business opportunities. The trade show focuses on growers of high-value crops such as vegetables, soft fruits, ornamentals, leafy greens, and medicinal plants. With 90 exhibitors and over 1,000 expected visitors, the event offers a compact yet powerful platform, including a comprehensive knowledge program and extensive networking opportunities.
Internationally strengthening the GreenTech Community
Mariska Dreschler, Director of GreenTech Global, says: “GreenTech North America is launched to meet the growing demand for a dedicated platform tailored to the region. It brings together sustainable and high-tech horticulture solutions, aiming to accelerate innovation and collaboration across the sector. Building on the success of GreenTech Amsterdam and GreenTech Americas, this new edition strengthens GreenTech’s global role in connecting the horticulture community and addressing regional needs with international expertise.”
Philadelphia was chosen strategically: the city is centrally located, easily accessible from five states, and offers access to key consumer markets. Furthermore, the event enjoys strong local and regional support.
