Summer renovations at RAI Amsterdam
Summer renovations at RAI Amsterdam
While many take a summer break, we’ve been hard at work making RAI Amsterdam even more welcoming, modern and future-proof. Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to:
Entrance K – Cloakroom & Restrooms
A complete transformation with a brand-new cloakroom desk, 405 lockers decorated with iconic vintage photos, and modern, spacious restrooms. Sustainable features include water-saving taps, LED lighting, and even a luggage conveyor belt from ground floor to basement.
Entrance C – New Control Room
Two meeting rooms have been converted into a high-tech Control Room: our new command centre for safety, monitoring and coordination across the entire venue. At the same time, other rooms in this area are being upgraded with new carpet and screens – part of a larger technical renovation plan for Entrance C.
From Buurtkamer Parkhuis in Amsterdam-East to De Groene Kans in the Rivierenbuurt and Café Genieten in Nieuw-West – places where people come together to share stories and build community – these glasses are now being put to meaningful use, gaining new life and new purpose.
Access & Safety Centre
A new location next to our Hospitality Crew centre. Access to the build-up and break down of events along with the required safety equipment wil now be managed from one central location making the process clearer and more efficiënt.
RAI Signaal – Heritage with a future
Our iconic 42-metre high RAI Signaal, a listed national monument, is being carefully restored. The update preserves its original character while integrating sustainable, future-ready design. Renovation will be completed summer 2026. ore efficiënt.
We’re proud of these steps to ensure RAI Amsterdam remains a place where guests feel welcome, comfortable and inspired.
