Work on RAI Kwartier temporarily paused
The development of the RAI Quarter has been temporarily paused. The Amsterdam City Council was recently informed of this pause through an information letter from the Municipality of Amsterdam.
Over the past few years, RAI Amsterdam and the Municipality of Amsterdam have been working together on the future of the exhibition and convention centre and the surrounding area. During various meetings and engagement sessions, valuable ideas, points of attention and suggestions were gathered. The input provided by residents, customers, partners and other stakeholders remains part of the project and will be retained. The knowledge, research and insights collected over the years will serve as an important foundation when the process resumes.
As soon as more information becomes available about the continuation of the project, we will update our stakeholders accordingly. Should the project move forward, the Municipality of Amsterdam and RAI Amsterdam will once again engage with local stakeholders in the further development of the plans.
