RAI Amsterdam welcomes International Running Expo (IRX)

On Tuesday 4 and Wednesday 5 November, the very first edition of the International Running Expo (IRX) will take place at RAI Amsterdam. This event is a European first: a trade fair entirely dedicated to the professional running industry. IRX brings together high-level professionals to showcase the latest product launches, technologies, trends and innovations. The event facilitates meaningful connections between running brands, retailers, wholesalers and distributors, athletes, influencers, press and media.
A meeting place for brands, experts and athletes
More than two hundred established and emerging brands will present their latest products, ranging from footwear and apparel to technology, nutrition and recovery tools. Visitors to IRX will gain exclusive access to over 1,500 products, all available to test on-site. In addition to the exhibition floor, IRX offers a rich content programme featuring leading speakers such as Tom Foley, CEO of Intersport, and Urs Weber from Runner’s World. Running legends including Dean Karnazes, Scott Jurek and Susie Chan will be present for inspiring talks and meet-and-greet sessions. Panel discussions will explore key topics such as sustainability, community building and current trends in the running sector.
An active experience with social connection
IRX is more than a trade show – it’s an immersive experience. On Tuesday, visitors can begin the day with breathing exercises and a high-intensity training session led by Coach Arj Thiruchelvam, followed by an ice bath for recovery. On Wednesday, a group run through the streets of Amsterdam will give participants the chance to test the latest products. Social highlights include the Sip & Social networking drinks and the Cool Down Party at De Hallen. The IRX networking app allows visitors to plan their schedule in advance, book meetings and reserve activations, making it easy to get the most out of their visit.
