Due to increasing corona measures, the Horecava decided to organise the new hybrid event Horecava Limited entirely virtually. Carlijn Groen, Director Food Horecava: "As much as we would like to physically connect everyone from the hospitality industry, this is no longer the time to do it this way. We are going to do everything we can to give the industry a virtual boost with a vibrant online programme". Horecava Limited will take place on Monday 1 Februari 2021 at www.horecava.nl.
Ingredients virtual concept
Entrepreneurs in the hospitality industry are having a hard time. Horecava Limited wants to support them in finding a business perspective. The virtual concept is a mix of exchanging knowledge and experiences with experience and entertainment. On Het Podium, for example, current hospitality businesses are in the spotlight. Together with HotelloTOP, for example, there is the programme 'De Horecawereld draait door', there are trend sessions and HTC will talk to you about consumer behaviour. There are also talk shows on subjects such as big data, food waste, hybrid catering and staff. Panel discussions about new revenue models offer ideas for the future.
At 'Aan Tafel' there are online tastings. Catering companies can order a tasting box by invitation. You can then prepare the products yourself, after which you can participate in the live tasting in the Horecava-studio. Companies that can support entrepreneurs with today's challenges will give master classes in the Expert studio. There are elevator-pitch sessions for start-ups.
Carlijn Groen, Director Food Horecava: "A month ago, with the announcement of Horecava Limited, we were still full of hope that the conditions surrounding COVID-19 would improve. Unfortunately, the opposite is true. It was with pain in our hearts that, after last Tuesday's press conference and in close consultation with the authorities, we took the decision to continue Horecava Limited only virtually. We are going to turn it into an online event that will surprise just as much as the physical Horecava".

Professionals from the world of eating, drinking and sleeping outdoors have free access to the virtual event by invitation. Otherwise the ticket price is € 55,-. The sale will start on 14 December.
