Wendy Zwaaf-Hoogland started on 1 July 2025 as Manager Digital & IT at RAI Amsterdam. The 47-year-old Zwaaf-Hoogland joins the RAI to optimise IT processes and further develop strategic IT initiatives that contribute to a more data-driven and efficient organisation. The RAI feels like a team that truly works together towards a shared goal, and I hope to be a part of that soon.”
According to Maurits van der Sluis, COO of RAI Amsterdam, the role of technology and data is becoming increasingly important in the trade fair and events industry. “To further strengthen our leading position, we want to become even more agile in adapting our processes, organisation, and ways of working to seize the opportunities that digital developments offer. With Wendy, we now have the perfect person to help us achieve this. She brings a wealth of experience from various industries and has a proven track record in advancing organisations in the areas of IT and digital transformation.”
