Intertraffic launches Intertraffic Asia in Bangkok
Intertraffic continues its global growth with the launch of Intertraffic Asia in Bangkok. The new event, taking place from 28 to 30 April 2027, responds to the rapidly growing demand for smart, safe and sustainable mobility solutions across Southeast Asia.
Expanding a global platform for mobility
Since its launch in 1972, Intertraffic has grown into an international platform for knowledge exchange, technology and collaboration in mobility. With established events in Amsterdam, Mexico and China, the brand connects governments, companies and experts working on traffic management, road safety and intelligent transport systems.
With the introduction of Intertraffic Asia, the portfolio expands further. The new event was officially launched to the market today, 11 March 2026 during Intertraffic Amsterdam.
Bangkok as gateway to Southeast Asia
Bangkok serves as a strategic gateway to Southeast Asia’s mobility markets. Located at the centre of the ASEAN region, the city attracts policymakers, urban mobility leaders and technology companies from countries including Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and Singapore.
The region is investing heavily in traffic and incident management, intelligent transport systems, public transport expansion, urban logistics and sustainable mobility. Intertraffic Asia creates a platform where international technology providers and regional stakeholders can meet, exchange knowledge and present new solutions.
Partnership with VNU Asia Pacific
The expansion into Bangkok is supported by a strategic partnership with VNU Asia Pacific, headquartered in the Thai capital. The collaboration combines RAI Amsterdam’s international network and event expertise with strong regional market knowledge.
Together, both organisations are developing a platform that connects companies, governments and innovators around mobility technology and infrastructure. With Intertraffic Asia, RAI Amsterdam strengthens its ambition to organise events worldwide that connect industries and accelerate innovation.
