ROC students gain hands-on experience in the Grand Café

You do not become a star in the kitchen or on the restaurant floor overnight. It takes a great deal of practice and experience. At the Grand Café, ROC students are getting the opportunity to develop their skills in a real-world setting.

From Tuesday 22 September to Friday 2 October, students from the hospitality programme will use the Grand Café as a practical training location. Here, they will put their knowledge into practice by welcoming guests, taking orders and preparing lunches.

For visitors, this is a great opportunity to see the hospitality professionals of tomorrow in action while enjoying lunch. During this period, the Grand Café will be open from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm.

The menu includes a (vegetarian) burger with fries or a sandwich served with soup and a small salad. Both lunch options are served with infused water or another beverage of your choice from the menu.
