Roadworks

In the coming years, major infrastructure works will take place in and around Amsterdam, directly affecting access to RAI Amsterdam. These projects, led by organisations such as Rijkswaterstaat, Zuidasdok and the Municipality of Amsterdam, aim to improve and future-proof the region’s infrastructure. At the same time, they may temporarily lead to diversions, delays or adjusted travel routes.

We are closely monitoring these developments and kindly refer you to the official websites of the organisations involved, where you can find specific project details and the latest updates:

Motorway renovation

Between May and October 2025, Rijkswaterstaat will be renovating motorway infrastructure in and around Amsterdam. This includes major maintenance works on the A1, A4 and A10 (Amsterdam Ring Road).

Zuidasdok project

Over the next ten years, efforts will be made to improve accessibility to Amsterdam and the northern part of the Randstad region, both by road and public transport. Zuidasdok is a collaborative project between Rijkswaterstaat, ProRail and the Municipality of Amsterdam.
