MagicCon in RAI Amsterdam

From 17 to 19 July, we are organising MagicCon at RAI Amsterdam. This is an international event centred around the card game Magic: The Gathering. Visitors come together to play tournaments, meet up and take part in game sessions and panels.

What this means for you
During the day, participants enter the event via Entrance K. In the evening, the routes change:

  • On Friday and Saturday, Entrance R (P10 side) is open from 7.00 pm to midnight
  • After 7.00 pm, visitors leave the site via this entrance
  • On Sunday, the event ends at 6.00 pm
As a result, it may be busier around P9 and P10 in the evening. After the event, visitors will head towards P8 for taxis, bicycles and public transport.

What kind of visitors can you expect?
MagicCon attracts a specific audience. Visitors come to play and meet each other.

  • These are quiet, enthusiastic card players
  • There is no music programme or party
  • Activities mainly take place indoors

Measures to minimise disruption
We actively manage the flow of people and limit noise:

  • We are deploying additional security staff at the exit
  • We are putting up clear signage
  • Visitors are asked to be considerate of the surrounding area
  • We direct visitors to the correct routes for taxis and public transport

In conclusion
We expect the event to run smoothly. We are keeping a close eye on the situation and will make adjustments where necessary.

If you have any questions or experience any disruption, please do not hesitate to contact us.
