Information session on area development

On Monday 6 October, RAI Amsterdam will host an information session to update you on the area development plans for the future of the RAI site. During this meeting, we will also present the first draft of the transformation plan. As a local resident or stakeholder, we warmly invite you to attend and share your thoughts.

In February this year, we held an initial online session about the area development. At that time, we shared our plans, the process and the timeline. We also presented the results of the survey on area development, which we conducted in November 2024 among residents, businesses, and other stakeholders in the immediate surroundings of the RAI.

Over the past few months, RAI Amsterdam and the City of Amsterdam have continued to develop the plans. A key aim of this area transformation is to better integrate the RAI into the city. In the concept plan, we show where we see opportunities for green spaces, improved public areas, and future construction.

What will be discussed?

• Ideas and possible functions for the area
• Next steps: what happens after this session

We would very much like to hear your views. During the session, you will be able to share your ideas, concerns and suggestions. We will include as many of these as possible in the next stages of the process, helping to improve the plans together.
