Sustainability is very important to RAI Amsterdam. CSR also plays an important role tor our staff
At the RAI's Corporate Social Responsibility is very broad. Think of, for example, an clear internship policy (every year, some 80 students do their internship here), green usage of our building (e.g. heat storage and movement sensors), a green car leasing policy (stimulating the use of public transport, 'green' leased cars and RAI bicycles for meetings in town), sustainable food and beverage (including organic coffee and French fries, using local suppliers), but also our lasting support for charities such as AMREF Flying Doctors and Stichting EMMA.
Our CSR Manager Stephanie Mathas! She is supported by 25 CSR ambassadors in every layer of our organisation. Stephanie indicates: "RAI staff are very committed, they take both small and large initiatives in the field of socially responsible entrepreneurship and there is plenty of room to further develop these initiatives and to make them the RAI's own. The strength of our RAI colleagues is not merely the ability to discuss these ideas, but also lies in immediately trying out and applying them. RAI staff are truly active participants."
