A few years ago, the RAI decided to set up its own internship office as the organisation provides some 80 internships annually. Our internship office is run by an intern and supports colleagues to recruit the best candidates, maintains contacts with candidates and organizes fun events for RAI interns such as an introduction day for new interns and a job application training. Furthermore, interns can turn to the internship office with all their questions concerning their contracts and employment conditions.
May I introduce...
Kirsten Huisman! Currently an intern at RAI Amsterdam and our very own Coordinator Placement Office.
"Currently, I am studying ‘International Hotel Management’ at Stenden University in Leeuwarden. In my fourth year, I need to write my thesis during my internship of 10 months. I choose to apply at RAI Amsterdam as ‘Coordinator Placement Office’ which is a unique chance to develop myself. During my internship, I am responsible for the recruitment and selection process of all interns (about 90!) at RAI Amsterdam.
It is a great challenge to link the different departments to the right candidates. Because of this position I learn more about recruitment, HR and the different departments within RAI Amsterdam every day. In short, a great internship at a big, busy company!"
