Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is an integral part of RAI Amsterdam's strategy. We do our part to help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, which were formulated to make the world a better place by 2030. In 2018, we spoke with various exhibition managers, exhibitors and experts about the impact of our events in this area. This provided us with several interesting insights.
The 17 objectives help both governments and companies achieve a better focus on their social ambitions. When organizing our own events, we examine which development goals are best aligned with the relevant industry. We then consider which effects the event in question can potentially have, and formulate a suitable strategy to achieve these. How this works, and more, is explained in videos below.
Check out what these experts have to say – the writer Jan Terlouw speaks about sustainable action, Yvette Watson from PHI Factory discusses circular economies and Femke Holdorp of Dopper talks about reducing plastic waste.
By bringing together people, sustainable content and speakers, the RAI’s events contribute to the sustainable growth and development of people and markets.
