RAI Amsterdam and De Boer Structures renew collaboration

De Boer Structures, market leader in accommodations for large events and temporary office spaces and RAI Amsterdam, international convention center, have renewed their collaboration. The coming years De Boer will keep delivering temporary pavilions for several large trade fairs.

Maurits van der Sluis, COO of RAI Amsterdam, is proud to be attracting large and appealing trade fairs to Amsterdam again in 2017, such as PLMA, Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2017, and the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC). Van der Sluis: “International trade shows really test the capacity of Amsterdam’s existing expo halls. De Boer offers excellent, complete and functional solutions. Moreover, De Boer has been a reliable partner, which is why we have renewed our collaboration.”

According to Arnout de Hair, CEO of De Boer Structures, the renewal confirms the strong relationship the organizations have established in the last decades. “During international top events, the RAI grabs the spotlight worldwide. We are happy to be a part of that in the next years.”

Expanding capacity
RAI Amsterdam wants to expand its enormous terrain of 23 hectares (230,000 square meters) as flexibly and efficiently as possible and create the largest possible surface size for visiting trade fairs. De Boer enables RAI Amsterdam to expand the capacity of its existing expo halls in a fast and flexible way. In just a few days, an extra 12,000 square meters of temporary pavilions can be placed on the front turf and the courtyard alone, including facilities such as lighting, furniture and sanitary fittings.

De Boer has been working with Amsterdam RAI since the 1990s, in order to temporarily expand existing facilities during conventions and trade fairs.
