Masters of LXRY in RAI Amsterdam for next five years

RAI Amsterdam welcomed an impressive 50,450 visitors from the Netherlands and abroad to the Masters of LXRY exhibition from 8 to 12 December. This was 5,000 more than in the previous edition, with Masters of LXRY 2016 also covering an additional 3,500 m² of floor space. The event was very well received by visitors and exhibitors alike, with particular interest shown in art, real estate, premium cars, boats, interior design, watches and jewellery.

The final day of the exhibition, dubbed Business Monday, saw the organisers and venue agree on a new partnership covering the next five years. Building on its major success, Masters of LXRY will grow even larger in the coming years and feature a surface area of 38,000 m² in 2017. Maurits van der Sluis (l), COO of RAI Amsterdam, is delighted with the new five-year agreement. “Masters of LXRY is developing into one of the most unique exhibitions in Europe and we are proud to be its host.”

This year will mark the 15th time that Masters of LXRY has been organised in Amsterdam. After a successful launch in the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam in 2002, the organiser Yves Gijrath (r) chose to move the event to the much larger RAI Amsterdam – a venue befitting its ambitions. After the recent signing of a new five-year contract, RAI Amsterdam will remain the home of Masters of LXRY until 2020 at least. Next year’s Masters of LXRY will take place from 7 to 11 December at RAI Amsterdam. More information is available on the LXRY website.
