Amsterdam International Business Award given to IBC
The Amsterdam International Business Award was awarded to the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) during a gala evening at the NH Collection Amsterdam Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky on Friday the 23rd of May. This award is given to international companies that enhance the global attraction of Amsterdam and contribute to the regional economy.
Arthur van Dijk, chairman of Transport and Logistics Netherlands, presented the award and thanked IBC for its “good entrepreneurial behaviour in the Amsterdam region”. IBC brings together 55,000 professionals from 170 countries active in entertainment and news content in the RAI and Amsterdam every year, contributing more than €80 million to the region. Michael Crimp, CEO of IBC, thanked the RAI and the hotels in particular for making this successful event possible in Amsterdam.
About the Amsterdam Business Awards
In addition to connecting people, the Amsterdam Business Awards Gala aims to reward and stimulate entrepreneurs to improve the economy and quality of life in the Amsterdam city and region. The gala was organised for the seventh time this year. The award is an initiative by MeerBusiness, one of the most active business platforms in Amsterdam.
