Calendar of busy periods at the RAI
The RAI wants to keep you informed of expected busy periods in and around our premises.
We have therefore put together this calendar, which you can check at any time to see the heavy traffic, road blocks or neighbourhood posts that are likely to occur around the RAI on any given day. The meanings of the icons are indicated in the legend.
There is a major event at the RAI and there will be a lot of cars entering and exiting our garages.
There will be a lot of buses dropping off and picking up visitors.
A bicycle route has been blocked.
There will be a lot of taxis dropping off and picking up visitors.
A large event is being built up or broken down. We therefore expect a lot of truck traffic loading and unloading cargo at our premises.
Traffic posts will be put in place to ensure that our visitors are prevented from parking in your neighbourhood to the extent possible.
During the big events at RAI Amsterdam we block the different streets entering the neighborhood, so visitors can not park their car there and the people living there are not inconvenienced. These neighborhood post are set up during the big (more than one day) events, when the RAI uses outside parking areas.
When their are neighborhood post local residence can identify them self with card. This card can be picked up at the desk in the entrance of the district office.
