Innovation and sustainability at the core of Horecava 2016
Innovation has become one of the main elements that draws visitors to the Horecava. Sustainability is becoming an essential part of business to the food service entrepreneur. The InnovationLAB at the fair is thé place where innovation within themes such as technology, marketing, and sustainability is made visible. Here you can see how trends can be translated into new opportunities within the food services industry. Visitors can enjoy a special demonstration with 3D food printing at the InnovationLAB. Horecava, the largest national trade fair for professionals in the food services industry, celebrates its 60th edition and will take place from Monday 11 to Thursday, January 14th at the RAI Amsterdam.
Horecava Innovation Award
A future full of digital opportunities and food technical challenges. This is evident from the 124 entries the jury of the Horecava Innovation Award evaluated this year. Atmosphere, sense of taste, less waste and unhealthy additives, and real contact are the central themes in the sixteen nominated products and services. Monday, January 11, the four category winners, the overall winner, the audience award and the winner of the Charles Fox Award will be announced. The latter is the most guest-oriented innovation, which supports the entrepreneur in his business and is produced with respect for humans, animals and the planet.
