New Hall numbers
We would like to inform you about the partial renumbering of the RAI complex which will come into effect on 1 August 2016. Please note that this new numbering system may impact your event.
The construction of a multipurpose car park with 1,000 places will contribute to RAI Amsterdam’s efforts to ensure an optimum configuration for the RAI Convention Centre. The multifunctional aspect of the facility is embodied in the double height of the first floor of the building. By giving this floor a height of 3,60 metres, we have ensured that it can also be used as an additional show area measuring 2,500 m². In other words, this is equivalent to creating a new exhibition hall.
The incorporation of the new building into the existing complex requires a partial adaptation of the numbering of the halls and parking facilities. This will allow us to maintain a layout for the Convention Centre that your and our guests will find logical and convenient. We would also like to take the opportunity to add the first floor of the Elicium and the ground floor of the Amtrium to the sequence of exhibition halls.
For all these reasons, the following numbering will apply to the halls and parking facilities of RAI Amsterdam from 1 August 2016.
What does this mean for you?
We will ensure that our systems and signage are updated and that our suppliers are informed. Furthermore, if applicable, you will receive a modified Confirmation of Hire that indicates the new numbering. This will apply only to events that have already been booked and will take place after 1 August 2016.
We kindly request that you inform your exhibitors and own suppliers, and adapt your communications with visitors concerning your event.
Although we recognise that this change will have an impact, we are convinced that the new arrangement will contribute to a more successful facilitation of large, multiday international events in RAI Amsterdam.
