Welcome to the July 2009 edition of the Intertraffic E-newsletter, powered by Intertraffic.com. |
| Intertraffic Istanbul - review |
Intertraffic Istanbul confirms its leading role
The fifth edition of Intertraffic Istanbul, which took place on 27, 28 and 29 May in the Istanbul Expo Center, was deemed a success by all parties involved. The 138 exhibitors originating from 21 different countries represented a 35% increase from the previous edition. This was surpassed by the nearly 3,700 visitors from 63 countries, representing an impressive 50% increase.
The event is hence fulfilling its role as leading trade fair for infrastructure, traffic management, safety and parking in Eurasia and the Middle East. A picture impression is published on the website. The next edition will be scheduled for 2011.

Exhibitor registration
With almost 70% of the floor space occupied, Intertraffic 2010 is steadily filling up. Companies interested to participate are advised to register sooner rather than later to ensure choice of location. Exhibitor information as well as the preliminary exhibitor list can be found on the website.
Paving the way to a greener world
In addition to our regular segments of infrastructure, traffic management, safety and parking, we have a new section called Environment.
Organised in close cooperation with the IRF (International Road Federation) and TNO (The Netherlands Organisation of Applied Scientific Research) the Environment Arena will be hosting environmentally friendly products (such as recycling techniques and material, solar energy and electric cars, air pollution measurement equipment), panel discussions and company presentations. Companies who are active in this segment are welcome to participate. Environment is also a new section in the Intertraffic Innovation Award contest.
