Amsterdam is fast becoming one of Europe's main business centres. The development of the Zuidas (South Axis) business district in the southern part of the city is the motor behind this process, as it continues to attract more and more major international companies.

Fresh impetus for this process is being provided by the construction of the North-South metro line, which will connect the north of the city and the city centre with the Zuidas business district. Amsterdam RAI is therefore located at the focal point of all this activity, innovation and vitality. The construction of the North-South metro line also fits in very well with the future plans of Amsterdam RAI.
General informationThe excellent accessibility of Amsterdam RAI will be improved still further by the construction of the new metro line! There will be an underground metro station in the square in front of the RAI complex. Although the construction work will not go unnoticed, the accessibility of the RAI is guaranteed and its facilities can be used without fear of nuisance or inconvenience. This is due to the meticulous coordination of the work by the government authorities, the metro line contractors and the RAI.
